Dr. Gloria Siu is the Chief Executive of GUM, a boutique consulting firm which provides solutions to corporate on MPF and employee benefits.
Gloria has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry; expertise on all industry aspects including corporate pension, employee benefits, general insurance and financial planning, from operations to business development; individuals to corporations. With the aim to increase public awareness on MPF and retirement, Gloria led the GUM Research Team to conduct MPF focused studies and publish findings every year. Holding her belief in active management and continuous education, more than 300 seminars on various MPF development topics were conducted and the unique corporate solution – Pension Advisory Model was developed. Gloria is also in great interest to the healthcare development in Hong Kong, research focuses on employment based health insurance value and efficiency.
A member of the standing Advisory Committee of Investor Education Centre (IEC) and Investigation Panel of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) appointed by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau since Year 2017, Gloria holds an MBA from the University of Leicester, UK and a business administration doctorate degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Clement Chan is the Managing Director – Assurance of BDO Limited, Hong Kong.
In his present role as the Managing Director of Assurance, Clement oversees the operation of
Assurance business line including its Risk Management and Quality Assurance. Under his
leadership, Assurance has grown significantly over the last five years.
Clement was also the President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(HKICPA) in 2014. During his considerable time with HKICPA, he was mostly active in
accounting standards setting and governance activities both domestically and internationally.
He is also the immediate past Chair of the Asian-Oceanian Standard-Setters Group.
In addition to being a leader in his professional firm, Clement is widely recognised for his
integrity and competency in the community which results in his appointment to a number of

Mr. Michael Chan is responsible for the development of strategy to drive healthy and steady growth of GUM.
Michael has over 30 years of international life insurance and wealth management experiences. He took on a number of management positions in a reputable multi-national life insurance and wealth management company for more than 17 years, where he had worked as a product line manager of life and medical insurance products. He was also the country manager of Malaysia as CEO of the public listed company until he joined Gain Miles (now “GUM”) in April 2013.
Michael was the Chairman of the Board of the Medical Insurance Association of the Hong Kong Federal of Insurers from 1999 to 2000 and the first Chairman to publish the Medical Insurance Claim Statistical reference report. A fellow Member of the British Royal Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Associate Member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, qualified member of the society of Registered Financial Planners and Life Insurance Management Research Association, Michael holds an Accounting Degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Ada is responsible for formulating investment strategies and providing advisory services to internal and external clients at Sun Life Asset Management (HK) Limited. Ada has extensive experience in advisory and portfolio management for high-net-worth client in banking industry. Prior to joining Sun Life Asset Management, Ada was Senior Market Strategist at HSBC formulating investment strategies for bankers and high-net-worth clients, driving strategic initiatives for digital transformation and migration for wealth management solutions. She has also taken up a role as Investment Strategist at Standard Chartered Bank, participated in house view formulation and disseminated investment strategies to clients. She obtained Master of Business Administration at HKUST, and has previously completed Master of Translation in The Chinese University of Hong Kong and gained Bachelor Degree of Journalism and Communications at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
